On October 5th the Neuro-mlab team of the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS) in Athens hosted an Open Thesis day for the purpose of informing prospective students for the available topics related to the BrainFrame applications and the Brain Simulation research theme in general.

The event was a great success with more than 70 students of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens attending. During the event Dr. Harry Sidiropoulos and Mr Georgios Chatzikonstantis presented the current research themes, topics and accomplishments of the BrainFrame related research conducted within the EBP consortium and of ICCS specifically. EBP wants to congratulate both presenters for the success of their event and hoping that this event shall become a tradition within the ICCS, fueling the research efforts of ICCS and the EBP in general.
